COVID 19 UPDATE
We have taken the decision as of the 1st of June 2020 to reopen our clinic in line with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy guidelines and current Government advice.
We are able to offer face-to-face physiotherapy appointments for certain conditions that are deemed to have an acute clinical need.
Prior to appointments being offered, all patients will undergo a medical screening questionnaire to assess their health status, clinical need and decide on the appropriate management of their condition. Any patients who have been classified in the government list of vulnerable, medium, or high risk categories and have been asked to shield from COVID-19 will be offered a virtual physiotherapy appointment or can be given appropriate advice on the management of their condition.
Anyone attending the clinic for a face-to-face physiotherapy consultation are requested to wear a face mask, if they have one. The treating physiotherapist will be wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for your appointment.
Appointment times will be staggered to allow patients time to arrive and leave the clinic with minimum exposure to others. There is a strict social distancing policy in place whilst in the clinic.
Patients are asked to come to any face-to-face treatment sessions on their own if at all possible, they should arrive at their allocated time so as to avoid any unnecessary waiting in the clinic or in the waiting room area.
Time has been allowed between treatment sessions for sanitisation of treatment rooms and frequently used areas of the clinic.
Please phone the clinic on 01253 301118 to discuss your clinical needs. We are here to offer help and advice.
We thank you for your understanding and continued support at this difficult time.
