Mark is a Chartered Physiotherapist with over 40 years’ experience. He graduated in 1986 at Manchester Withington School of Physiotherapy, becoming a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and Health Professions Council. He is also an accredited member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists and Organisation of Chartered Physiotherapists in Private Practice. He established the Blackpool Physiotherapy Centre in 2001.
Mark gained extensive clinical experience and knowledge from working in the NHS, Private sector, Industry and elite professional sports environments. He has completed a wealth of post graduate courses including Kinetic Control, The Society of Orthopaedic Medicine, The Mc Kenzie Institute of Spinal Management, and Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists

Rick Yates - BSc (Hons) MCSP HPC Reg, AACP.
After graduating from Coventry University in 2002, Rick spent his first few years developing a broad knowledge base in the acute and chronic rehabilitation settings, in Northwest NHS hospitals. From 2004, he worked in both spinal and peripheral rotations within hospitals, GP practices and university and this is where he developed his passion for MSK physiotherapy.
Rick was able to develop his clinical skills and manual therapy techniques to a high standard through all the ongoing courses and CPD that he has continued to participate in. His approach to treatment combines evidence-based practice with personalised care, ensuring each treatment plan is tailored to his patients' unique needs and goals.
Rick joined the practice in 2012; he is a registered and full member of the HCPC and is trained in the use of Acupuncture. He has a special interest in spinal pain, running injuries, headaches, whiplash and occupational therapy rehabilitation.

Alex Sklepowicz - BSc, MSc, MCSP, MIMDTP
Alex graduated from University of Medical Science in 2003 with a MSc Physiotherapy degree. He secured his first physiotherapy role at the Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Clinical Hospital along with inpatient and outpatient department in the United and Military Hospital in Elblag,Poland where he gained experience in a range of physiotherapy disciplines.
Since 2008 Alex has been working as a Lead Physiotherapist for a Fleetwood Rugby Union Club where he gained experience in the management of acute sport injuries. He has been working as a Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist at Grant Smith Therapy Centre for the last five years. Alex has been working as Clinical Lead Physiotherapist in Blackpool Victoria Teaching Hospitals and in 2020 graduated as Advanced Critical Care Practitioner. Currently continues to work in BTH as a ACCP and Clinical Educator in Critical Care/ Emergency Medicine.
In 2011 Alex has also joined Blackpool Physiotherapy Centre. As a private physiotherapist Alex provides professional treatment of musculoskeletal condition with special clinical interest in the mechanical spinal disorders.
Alex is a credentialled clinician of McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy and since graduation he has taken a wide variety of courses to improve his clinical knowledge and skills including Mulligan Concept, Myofascial Trigger Point Technique, Post Isometric Relaxation Technique, Kinesio Taping and variety of Cardio-Pulmonary training.

As a head of Physiotherapy Science Association she ran medical research and furthered her knowledge working as a teacher of physiotherapy subjects in medical vocational school.
Over the next few years she gained professional experience in the Orthopaedic and Neurological area in the Military Hospital and the United Voivod Hospital in Elblag along with the Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Clinical Hospital in Poznan.
In 2007 Kate joined the Back-in-Action Clinic in Preston and the Dail’s Chiropractic Clinic in Ansdell where she worked as a MSK physiotherapist for next 4 years. Rebecca Davis – BSc, MSc
Rebecca joined the practice in 2014 after graduating from the University of Central Lancashire with a BSc in Sports Therapy, she went onto complete an MSc in Sport and Exercise Science graduating in 2017.
Following university Rebecca spent a number of years working in professional football with teams including; Blackpool Fc, Bolton Wanderers and Bury FC, she went onto become the Head of Medical at AFC Fylde. Alongside her work in football, she has worked in private practice providing Sports Injury assessment, treatment and rehabilitation as well as Sports Massage and Acupuncture.
